A small exporter, deliberately

Fortuna BioPack exists to make buying regulated packaging from China less of a gamble for European and North American buyers — by keeping the product range narrow and the documentation complete.

Why we started

The gap is not manufacturing. It is accountability.

China has no shortage of factories that can make a polyethylene bag. What is scarce is a supplier who will tell you clearly what they can and cannot guarantee — and then put it in writing on the certificate that travels with the container.

Buyers in Europe and North America tell the same story: a competitive quotation, a smooth first shipment, and then a material substitution nobody mentioned, or a QA file that arrives three weeks after the goods and does not match the lot numbers on the cartons. The cost of that is not the bag. It is the deviation report, the quarantine, and the audit finding.

So we built the company around the boring parts. A narrow range so nothing is improvised. A fixed set of audited partner facilities so the process is known. A specification agreed in writing before a price is given. And a document pack assembled against the lot number, not against the order.

Where we are

Based in Suzhou, Jiangsu — inside one of China's denser medical-device and biotech manufacturing clusters, with the polymer and cleanroom supply chain that implies within a two-hour radius. Close enough to our partner sites to visit unannounced, which we do.

How we operate

Five rules we don't bend

These are the commitments that shape how we quote, produce and ship.

Specification before price

We will not quote a number against a vague requirement. Resin, gauge, fitment, sterility and packing are agreed in writing first — because a cheap price on the wrong specification is the most expensive thing you can buy.

No silent substitution

Resin grade, additive package, supplier and process are fixed at approval. Any change is notified in writing before shipment, with the reason and the effect stated. If we can't avoid a change, you get to refuse the lot.

Documents with the goods

The QA file is assembled against the lot numbers on the cartons and travels with the shipment. If a document will be late, we tell you before loading, not after arrival.

Honest lead times

We quote the date we believe we can hit, including tooling and approval gates. A supplier who promises four weeks on a new mould is either lying or about to disappoint you.

We will tell you when we're wrong for the job

If your application needs a material or a certification we can't supply, we say so and point you elsewhere. A supplier who quotes for everything is a supplier who delivers for nothing.

One person, start to finish

Your contact from the first enquiry handles the samples, the order, the inspection and the documents. No handover to an "order desk" that has never read your specification.

Who we supply

Buyers who need the file as much as the product

Pharmaceutical

Single-use liquid handling, sampling and intermediate storage where material compliance and lot traceability are non-negotiable.

Biotech & CDMO

Process development and scale-up, where bag volumes and fitments change as the process matures and the supplier has to keep up.

Diagnostics

Reagent bottles, specimen transport bags and containers where the format matters as much as the polymer.

Distributors

Private-label ranges under your own brand, with exclusivity by territory where a volume commitment supports it.

Start with a conversation, not a purchase order

Tell us what you buy and what has gone wrong with your current supplier. That is usually enough for us to know whether we are a fit.
